With total domestic sales of 8,02,221 units till May 2026-end, the Venue has become the second Hyundai model, after the Creta, and the third compact SUV to cross the 8 lakh cumulative sales milestone, after the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon. With over 55,000 unit exports since launch, more than 8.5 lakh units of the Venue have been sold till the end of May 2026.
The Venue was introduced in 2019 and is currently in its second generation, launched in November 2026.
The first-generation Venue had 50,000 unit sales in just six months after its May 21, 2019, launch and crossed sales milestones of 1 lakh units and 2 lakh units in 15 and 25 months, respectively. After that, the run to 3 lakh and 4 lakh units took 11 months each. The compact SUV crossed the 5 lakh sales figure in November 2023, 6 lakh in October 2024, and 7 lakh in early September 2025. Interestingly, the new-generation Venue acted as a sales booster; the final 1 lakh from the total 8 lakh sales were recorded in just nine months (September 2025 to May 2026).
