Jeep India has launched the Compass Sport diesel-automatic variant at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This brings the 9-speed automatic gearbox to the entry-level Sport trim of the Compass for the first time, making it the most affordable automatic version of the SUV in India. Deliveries of the Compass Sport AT will begin from the second week of November 2026.
Jeep is offering the Compass Sport AT with an optional accessory pack priced at Rs 29,900. This adds a ‘Swoosh decal’, which is visible on the rear pillars and along the shoulder line. It also adds mud flaps on the outside and all-weather floor mats on the inside. Being based on the entry-level Sport trim, the Compass Sport AT variant gets LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), chrome window surrounds and 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels. It also gets black outside rearview mirror (ORVM) housings with integrated turn indicators, a rear spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.
The interior of the Compass Sport AT has a dark theme with grey fabric inserts on the dashboard and door pads. The fabric seat upholstery features blue stitching, while the optional accessory pack also adds ambient lighting and a dashcam to the mix. The Compass Sport AT comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a four-speaker sound system and a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster.
Over the manual Sport, the automatic adds 6 airbags, auto hold and cruise control. These are offered alongside electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, tyre-pressure monitoring, an electronic parking brake and a reversing camera with rear parking sensors.
The Compass Sport AT is powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine as the rest of the range. This four-cylinder unit produces 170hp and 350Nm. Here, it is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox driving the front wheels. Jeep has retained the Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) suspension on this variant. Meanwhile, the rest of the Compass line-up continues to be offered with both manual and automatic gearboxes, along with 2WD and 4WD options.
