Over the past few months, Triumph Motorcycles has been on a spree of launches and updates as part of its ‘Unleashed 2026’ campaign. One of the standout products from that initiative was the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition, first revealed earlier this year in January. The limited-edition motorcycle has now been listed on Triumph India’s website at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition marks a brief return of Triumph’s large-capacity twin-cylinder cafe racer following the discontinuation of the Thruxton 1200. Staying true to the cafe-racer aesthetic, the motorcycle features clip-on handlebars and a dual-tone green-and-silver paint scheme paired with a colour-matched headlight cowl. It also gets a quilted tan leather seat that adds a more premium touch to the package.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 1,200cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine used in the standard Speed Twin 1200 line-up. Output stands at 105hp and 112Nm, with power sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The bike also gets a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, making it one of the few motorcycles in Triumph’s modern classic range to offer the feature.
Cycle parts are shared with the Speed Twin 1200 RS, including fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes and Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres. The electronics suite and rider aids are also carried over unchanged from the RS.
At Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Cafe Racer Edition commands a premium over the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS, which is priced at Rs 16.78 lakh. That premium accounts for the bespoke paint scheme, quilted leather seat, limited production run and certificate of authenticity supplied with each unit.
