The Skoda Kushaq crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone last month, nearly five years after its launch on June 28, 2021. In terms of exports, over 4,500 units of this midsize SUV have been shipped so far. However, the Kushaq took longer to reach the milestone than some of its rivals. The current-generation Hyundai Creta facelift crossed the 1 lakh sales mark within six months of its launch, while the Maruti Grand Vitara achieved the feat in one year.

The Kushaq is offered with two direct-injection turbo-petrol engine choices: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder mill and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit. The 1.0 TSI, producing 115hp and 178Nm, can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed torque-converter automatic that replaced the 6AT with the facelift.
