Nearly four years after they were introduced, Maserati is now expected to unveil the GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale facelift on June 18, 2026. Since the GranTurismo and GranCabrio entered their second generation in 2022, and the Grecale SUV was launched all-new the same year, the upcoming facelift is only expected to bring cosmetic tweaks. However, major mechanical changes are unlikely.
Exterior changes to the GranTurismo facelift, GranCabrio facelift and Grecale facelift are likely to be limited to their soft parts. Like seen in these shots of uncamoulflaged test mules, we expect slightly redesigned bumpers and revised intakes. Maserati could also offer new wheel designs and standard paint options with the production-spec models. The models will continue to be offered with the Italian brand’s new Officine Fuoriserie personalisation programme. This allows buyers to pick from a wide range of customisation options – stretching from exterior and interior shades to cabin upholstery and trim.
Maserati is unlikely to update the engines or transmissions of these cars with this facelift. The entry-level variants of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will come with a 490hp, 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the base variants of the Grecale SUV will get either a 300hp, 2.0-litre inline-four or a 330hp, 3.0-litre V6. The gearbox on offer will be an 8-speed automatic. The base Grecale can go from 0-100kph in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 229kph. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio can accelerate from 0-100kph in about 4 seconds and have a top speed of around 300kph.
Maserati’s line-up also includes fully electric versions of theses models, using the “Folgore” suffix. The GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore currently get an 83kWh battery with three electric motors, producing 761hp. Meanwhile, the Grecale Folgore has an 105kWh battery pack and a total output of 557hp. It is unclear if these versions will be updated with this facelift.
