BMW launched the F 450 GS in the second half of April. Now, in less than two months, the brand has stopped accepting bookings for the smallest GS in its line-up. According to dealer sources, the first batch of allocations has already been spoken for, and the second batch is expected post-July.
All three variants – Base, Exclusive and Trophy – have already been spoken for, and the brand has temporarily stopped accepting bookings. The second cycle of allocation for the top-spec Trophy variant with the ERC is expected only after September, whereas for the lower Base and Exclusive variants, it is likely as early as July. However, it is pertinent to note that BMW hasn’t released an official statement, and this story is based on information gathered from dealer sources.
Sources also suggest that customers who have already booked the F 450 GS in the early weeks of April have been told that the waiting period spans over 3-4 months. Customers planning to book the smallest GS in the second allocation cycle should expect a similar wait time.
