2026 MotoGP Mugello schedule, India timings

Share

MotoGP heads to another fan-favourite venue, Mugello, for Round 7 of the 2026 championship this weekend (May 29-31).

The title battle continues at the Italian GP, with home hero Marco Bezzecchi currently holding a 15-point advantage over his Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin. But that’s not the only major talking point. Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India.

2026 MotoGP Mugello schedule

Ducati has a strong record on home soil, having won the last four Italian GPs. However, they enter this year’s race on the back foot, 149 points behind Aprilia. Bezzecchi heads into the Italian GP with a 15-point advantage over his teammate Martin, who suffered a double DNF at the Catalan GP.

Marc Marquez, who has missed the last two races, will return to action this weekend. The reigning MotoGP world champion underwent successful surgeries on his right foot and his right shoulder, and he has been declared fit to race after passing his final medical review following FP1.

Another big name returns to the MotoGP grid this weekend. Castrol Honda LCR has confirmed that Cal Crutchlow will replace the injured Johann Zarco at the Italian GP, returning to MotoGP for the first time since the 2023 Japanese GP. Alex Marquez also won’t be competing this weekend following a major crash at the Catalan GP that left the younger Marquez brother with a broken right collarbone and a C7 vertebra fracture. He will be replaced by Ducati test rider Michele Pirro.
