The Suzuki Burgman Street has emerged as Suzuki Motorcycle India’s second best-selling scooter after the Access 125. FY2026 also marked the Burgman’s strongest year yet, with record sales of 2.87 lakh units, making it India’s seventh best-selling scooter.
Between its launch in July 2018 and March 2026, the Burgman Street recorded domestic sales of 11.6 lakh units and export sales of 2.5 lakh units, taking cumulative sales to 14.1 lakh units.
The scooter accounts for 25 percent of Suzuki India’s cumulative scooter sales during this period, while the Suzuki Access 125 continues to dominate the brand’s portfolio with a 70 percent share.
FY2026 proved to be a breakout year for the Burgman, with sales growing 25 percent year-on-year to 2.87 lakh units. This also contributed to Suzuki posting record annual scooter sales of 11.5 lakh units, with the Access 125 alone accounting for 8.12 lakh units.
In April 2026, Suzuki India sold 96,183 scooters, up 2 percent year-on-year. The Access 125 contributed 70,339 units, accounting for 73 percent of total scooter sales, while the Burgman Street added 19,337 units, representing a 20 percent share.
