The Maruti Victoris surpassed the 1 lakh unit sales milestone in May, over eight months since its launch in September 2025. The first 50,000 sales milestone was achieved in just five months of its introduction, and its highest monthly wholesales were in January 2026 (15,240 units). In the same month, the Victoris accounted for 20 percent of Maruti Suzuki’s utility vehicle (UV) sales – 75,609 units – making it the third bestselling UV for the company after the Ertiga (17,892 units) and the Brezza (17,486 units).

In comparison, the Maruti Grand Vitara, which shares its platform with the Victoris, took around one year to achieve the same sales target. However, the Victoris is not the fastest model in its segment to reach the 1 lakh-unit mark. The second-generation Hyundai Creta facelift, launched in mid-January 2024, took six months to hit the mark.
Out of over 7 lakh UV units sold by the carmaker between August 2025 and May 2026, the Victoris’ share was 14 percent. Looking at the 24,554-unit sales in the current fiscal year (April and May), the Victoris is ranked the fourth bestselling Maruti UV after the Fronx, Ertiga and Brezza. If the sales momentum continues, the Victoris can surpass 1.5 lakh units in sales in the next few months.
The Victoris is rebadged as the ‘Across’ for global markets, and 4,899 units had been exported as of March 2026.
The Victoris shares its powertrain line-up with the Grand Vitara, offering 103hp 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol, 116hp 1.5-litre strong-hybrid and an 89hp 1.5-litre petrol-CNG options. A 5-speed manual is provided with the CNG and an e-CVT for the strong hybrid. Whereas, a choice between a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter automatic is available with the mild-hybrid petrol, depending on the variant; top-spec mild-hybrid variants also come with an all-wheel-drive system.
In terms of mileage, the strong-hybrid Victoris is the most fuel efficient, delivering an ARAI-rated 28.56kpl. The Victoris CNG returns 27.02km/kg, while the mild-hybrid models deliver 21.18kpl (MT), 21.06kpl (AT) and 19.07kpl (AT AWD).
While the Victoris is sold through Maruti Arena dealerships, the Grand Vitara is available via the premium Nexa network. The Grand Vitara, however, misses out on features such as a space-saving underbody-mounted CNG tank and Level 2 ADAS, both of which are offered on the Victoris. The Victoris has also secured a full five-star Bharat NCAP rating, while the Grand Vitara is yet to be tested. Prices for the Maruti Victoris range from Rs 10.77 lakh to Rs 19.72 lakh, ex-showroom.
