Saudi’s CEER debuts with all-electric Exobot sedan and SUV

CEER, Saudi Arabia’s national automotive company, made its debut with the Exobot sedan and SUV on Monday. This marks the brand’s entry into the passenger electric vehicle space as part of industrial diversification targets under Saudi Vision 2030. The cars were revealed by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. These vehicles will be produced at the CEER manufacturing complex, the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East.
The Exobot sedan and SUV are the brand’s flagship electric vehicles. CEER plans to reveal five more models over the next five years. These include midsize and compact vehicles with different powertrain options.
CEER Exobot sedan and SUV exterior design
The sedan is 5.26 metres long, 2.1 metres wide and 1.43 metres tall, while the SUV is 5.02 metres long, 2.1 metres wide and 1.69 metres tall. Both have a wide stance and a wedge-shaped profile, with a slim horizontal light signature at the front.

One of the key design features is the large windscreen. CEER claims it is the largest windscreen ever fitted to a private passenger vehicle. It uses laminated glass with a reflective coating aimed at reducing solar heat entering the cabin. CEER also claims that in high-heat conditions, cabin temperatures can be reduced from 65 degC to 32 degC within 10 minutes. The cars get lightweight forged aluminium wheels with a triangular design. Another standout feature is the nearly three-metre-long wing doors, which open in a 60cm arc to provide a wider opening for front and rear passengers.
The cars are also available in a First Edition, featuring red brake calipers, along with two exterior paint options: Harrat Grey and White Musk.

A 48-inch pillar-to-pillar curved 8K display takes up most of the dashboard, while a 10.4-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch rear display are also available. The Exobot models get steer-by-wire technology and rear-wheel steering. The centre console uses a mix of physical and digital controls, with key functions such as gear selection, climate control and volume still operated through dedicated physical controls.
The First Edition gets black and red Nappa leather seats, with a ‘First Edition’ emblem debossed into the headrests. It also gets bespoke floor mats and a unique First Edition plaque.
CEER Exobot sedan and SUV range, battery specs
The Exobot sedan is claimed to have a range of 670km on the NEDC cycle. It is said to charge from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes and accelerate from 0-100kph in 2.6 seconds. The sedan produces 850hp and 1,000Nm. The Exobot SUV, meanwhile, has a claimed NEDC range of 560km and also takes 30 minutes to charge from 10-80 percent. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in a claimed 2.9 seconds and, like the sedan, produces 850hp and 1,000Nm.
At their highest specification, the Exobot models produce 1,111hp and 1,500Nm. The sedan can accelerate from 0-100kph in 2.1 seconds and has a top speed of 250kph. The SUV does the same sprint in 2.4 seconds and has a top speed of 210kph. Both figures are claimed by the brand.
Since its inception in 2022, CEER has secured partnerships with companies such as BMW, Hyundai and Rimac. It aims to achieve 45 percent local content in its cars by 2034 while designing, engineering and testing vehicles tailored to the specific requirements of Saudi Arabia and the region. The brand has not yet commented on whether the Exobot sedan and SUV will be launched in India or what their prices would be.
